A cool damp morning with a strong F6 north westerly slowly gave way to sunshine and a light northerly. Watches: 0625-1445.
The weather while not classic, did give some hope of an arrival with strong easterlies across the north sea, but north west over the western side. A Firecrest was next at Middle camp and maybe a bit of relief when 2 Yellow-browed Warbler (canal hedge, Easington) appeared, considerably later than expected. The Warren again came to life with an OLIVE-BACKED PIPIT, which after a fly about settled in a Kilnsea garden.
