A foggy start cleared leaving a lovelt bright spring day with a F1 NE wind.
Sea Watches: 0640-1115.

Migrant totals were reduced with 1 Jack Snipe, 3 Short-eared Owl, a Swallow south, 4 Wheatear, 3 Black Redstart, 3 Stonechat, 19 Chiffchaff, 35 Goldcrest, Firecrest at the point, 1 Brambling and 2 Siskin while on the move were 30 Jackdaw, 13 Rook, 6 Carrion Crow, 225 Starling, 1 Chaffinch and 2 Linnet.

Other bits of interest were the Black Brant with Brent Geese, 2 Gadwall, 33 Teal and 1 Merlin.

Ringing: 6 Goldcrest, 1 Great Tit, 1 Tree Sparrow, 1 Chaffinch, 1 Goldfinch (10 of 5 species).

Bright and sunny with light high clouds and a F2-3 ENE wind.
Sea Watches: 0620-1100. 

A good day with a decent arrival of migrants.

Totals were 1 White Wagtail, 17 Robin, 6 Wheatear, 3 Black Redstart, 2 Stonechat, 1 Song Thrush, 3 Redwing, 17 Chiffchaff, 38 Goldcrest, 1 Firecrest and 2 Snow Bunting at the Breach. 
Other bits of interest were 2 Peregrine, 1st winter Mediterranean Gull at the point, 2 Short-eared Owl while on the south were 47 Jackdaw, 7 Rook, 5 Carrion Crow, 35 Starling, 15 Chaffinch, 5 Goldfinch and 4 Linnet.
On the move over a quiet sea were 2 Eider, 4 Red-throated Diver and 1 Cormorant.

Ringing: 3 Robin, 9 Goldcrest, 1 Chaffinch, 2 Goldfinch, 2 Siskin (17 of 5 species).

A clear day with a cool F2-3 NE wind.
Migration Watches: 0630-1100. 
A small arrival of early migrants in the afternoon.

Mirant totals were 1 Wheatear Kilnsea wetlands, 4 Song Thrush, 12 Chiffchaff, 19 Goldcrest and 1 Firecrest Vicars Lane, Easington. 
Other bits of interest were 166 Wigeon, 2 Gadwall, 19 Teal while on the move south were 1 Stock Dove, 5 Meadow Pipit, 7 Jackdaw, 4 Rook, 1 Carrion Crow, 285 Starling, 4 Chaffinch, 3 Goldfinch and 4 Linnet.
On the move over the sea were 6 Red-throated Diver, 1 Fulmar, 3 Gannet, 84 Herring Gull, 2nd cal year Glaucous Gull and 1 Cormorant.

Ringing: 1 Dunnock, 2 Robin, 3 Chiffchaff, 12 Goldcrest, 5 Goldfinch (23 of 5 species).

Birds present were 2 Pink-footed Goose, 1 Canada Goose, 1 Black Brant with 300 Dark-bellied Brent Geese on Long Bank Marsh, 90 Wigeon, 5 Gadwall, 8 Teal, 2 Grey Partridge, 2 Short-eared Owl at Sammy’s Point, 

On the move were 10 Common Scoter, 3 Red-throated Diver, 1 Gannet, 2 Cormorant, 9 Herring Gull, 5 Great Tit, 5 Rook, 6 Chaffinch, 8 Goldfinch and 2 Linnet.

Rain first thing then clear skies and a stiff, cold westerly wind. F2-4 SW-W.

Birds present were 3 Gadwall, 40 Teal, 9 Avocet, 1 Redwing, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Goldcrest.

On the move were 1+ Whooper Swan (heard moving north in the dark), 9 Meadow Pipit, 1 Grey Wagtail, 7 Jackdaw, 2 Rook, 102 Chaffinch, 6 Goldfinch and 26 Linnet.

On the move were 2 Eider, 37 Common Scoter, 15 Red-throated Diver, 3 Gannet, 29 Black-headed Gull, 8 Herring Gull, 3 Great BB Gull, 1 Meadow Pipit, 8 alba Wagtail, 9 Jackdaw, 3 Rook, 2 Carrion Crow, 115 Chaffinch, 4 Goldfinch, 1 Siskin and 1 Corn Bunting

A miserable day with rain throughout becoming heavier in the afternoon. F1-2 W.

Birds present were 2 Pink-footed Geese, 72 Wigeon, 1 Goldeneye, 1 Great Northern Diver on the sea, 1 Merlin, 1 White Wagtail at Sammy’s Point, 1 Chiffchaff, 6 Goldcrest and 1 Siskin.

On the move were 4 Common Scoter, 29 Red-throated Diver, 3 Gannet, 3 Common Gull, 10 Herring Gull, 3 Great BB Gull, 2 Meadow Pipit, 2 Great Tit, 10 Rook, 2 Carrion Crow, 225 Starling, 3 Chaffinch, 3 Goldfinch and 4 Linnet.

The first Wheatear arrived along with a small fall of Chiffchaff and another Firecrest.

Birds present were 1 Black Brant with 700 dark-bellied Brent Geese, 152 Wigeon, 1 Goldeneye, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 1 Merlin, 2 Avocet, 275 Curlew, 2 Lesser BB Gull, 1 Guillemot, 2 Wheatear on Kilnsea Wetlands, 1 Song Thrush, 5 Redwing, 13 Chiffchaff, 11 Goldcrest, 1 Firecrest at Kew, 17 Magpie, 15 Chaffinch, 

On the move were 1 Red-throated Diver, 1 Gannet, 5 Cormorant, 1 Lapwing, 29 Black-headed Gull, 1 Lesser BB Gull, 6 Herring Gull, 2 Stock Dove, 7 Woodpigeon, 1 Skylark, 2 alba Wagtail, 26 Jackdaw, 13 Rook, 21 Goldfinch, 16 Linnet, 1 Reed Bunting, 

Ringing- 4 Redwing, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Firecrest, 3 Goldcrest, 3 Great Tit, 4 Chaffinch, 1 Goldfinch. 19/7.
