Bright, sunny and warm day with a F3-4 south easterly. Watches: 0600-1515.
Not much change overall, but still good birding throughout the day, the Kilnsea wetlands area had lots to keep observers occupied with 3 Spoonbill, a Wood Sandpiper, 2 Pintail, 18 Teal, 34 Little Egret, 2 Marsh Harrier, 3 Little-ringed Plover, 5 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Ruff, 8 Snipe, 3 Common Sandpiper, a Green Sandpiper, 11 Greenshank, 2 Little Gull, 3 Mediterranean Gull, a juvenile Caspian Gull and 45 Little Tern.
On the move offshore from the seawatch hide were 10 Shelduck, 66 Teal, 400 Common Scoter, a Red-throated Diver, 2 Fulmar, 97 Gannet, a Shag, 14 Oystercatcher, a Grey Plover, 12 Ringed Plover, 5 Whimbrel, a Curlew, 7 Turnstone, 21 Knot, 93 Sanderling, 55 Dunlin and a juvenile Yellow-legged Gull.
Ringing 1 Wood Pigeon, 4 Tree Sparrow, 1 Blue Tit, 7 Willow Warbler, 6 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Reed Warbler, 2 Wren, 1 Blackbird.

Sunny day with a F2-3 south easterly. Watches: 0600-1100.
Kilnsea wetlands is as usual for the time of the year pulling in a good selection of Waders, Gulls and Herons. Today’s offerings were 58 Mallard, 2 Pintail, 3 Teal, 3 Spoonbill, 29 Little Egret, 2 Little-ringed Plover, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Ruff, a Common Sandpiper, a juvenile Spotted Redshank, 150 Redshank, 7 Greenshank, an unringed juvenile Caspian Gull, adult Yellow-legged Gull, 5 Mediterranean Gull, 9 Little Gull and a Hobby.
Another small increae in migrant counts, with more appearing along the peninsula, 4 Chiffchaff, 14 Willow Warbler, 9 Reed Warbler, 12 Lesser Whitethroat, 32 Whitethroat, the Black Redstart still at the Point, 8 Yellow Wagtail and 2 Crossbill.
Still no big movements of Waders, but a trickle was evident in the morning with 3 Shelduck, a Teal, 58 Common Scoter, a Fulmar, 2 Manx Shearwater, 173 Gannet, 55 Cormorant, 39 Oystercatcher, 2 Whimbrel, 3 Turnstone, a Knot, 2 Sanderling, 14 Dunlin, 2 Snipe, a Redshank, 11 Kittiwake, 157 Sandwich Tern, 32 Common Tern and an Arctic Skua, while overland 3 Swift, 75 Sand Martin, 287 Swallow, 2 House Martin and 14 Yellow Wagtail.
Ringing: 2 Ringed Plover, 4 Little Tern, 2 Swallow, 2 Willow Warbler, 9 Whitethroat, 1 Reed Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler, 1 Wren, 1 Dunnock, 2 Meadow Pipit.

Sunny spells and a F3 northwest-easterly. Watches: 0540-1215.
A nice total of 3 Caspian Gull on Kilnsea wetlands along with 3 Spoonbill and a Wood Sandpiper plus 2 Pintail, 3 Teal, 21 Little Egret, 2 Little-ringed Plover, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, a Ruff, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, 248 Redshank, 5 Greenshank, 3 Little Gull, 120 Sandwich Tern and 12 Common Tern and a Marsh Harrier hunting the area.
Some more migrants making their way south saw a Black Redstart at the Point plus 3 Chiffchaff, 11 Willow Warbler, 24 Whitethroat and a Grey Wagtail.
Most of the visible migration was over the sea with 13 Shelduck, 4 Teal, 81 Common Scoter, 3 Fulmar, 70 Manx Shearwater, 220 Gannet, a Shag, 5 Cormorant, 99 Oystercatcher, 3 Whimbrel, 30 Knot, 15 Sanderling, 6 Dunlin, 3 Kittiwake, 29 Common Gull, 114 Sandwich Tern, 13 Common Tern, a Great Skua and 2 Puffin, while a Marsh Harrier headed South.

Early morning drizzle cleared, but overcast with sunny spells and a F4 northerly. Watches: 0630-1330.
The White-rumped Sandpiper was showing well again on Kilnsea wetlands with good back up which included a Great White Egret, 3 Spoonbill, a Wood Sandpiper, 2 Pintail, 6 Teal, 18 Little Egret, 4 Little-ringed Plover, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, a Ruff, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, 3 Greenshank, 300 Little Gull, 5 Mediterranean Gull, a Yellow-legged Gull, 50 Sandwich Tern with a good count of 120 Little Tern on Beacon ponds
A multi observer seen Cory’s Shearwater heading north was the highlight over the sea, which also recorded 4 Teal, 3 Velvet Scoter, 40 Common Scoter, a Fulmar, 12 Manx Shearwater, 153 Gannet, 197 Oystercatcher, 3 Whimbrel, a Knot, 3 Sanderling, 165 Kittiwake, 80 Sandwich Tern, 26 Common Tern, a Great Skua, 15 Arctic Skua and a Puffin.

A WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER was a fantastic find at Kilnsea wetland, maybe even slightly expected with regular records over the last few years. It was joined by 6 Egyptian Geese, which then flew off south east out to sea, with the 3 Spoonbill still remaining, a nice count of 38 Little Egret and 2 juvenile Caspian Gull.

A cloudy day, rain in the morning and a F3 south easterly. Watches: 0540-0945.
While still little change the good birding continues on Kilnsea wetlands, today offering 2 Pintail, 3 Spoonbill, a Great White Egret, 18 Little Egret, 3 Little-ringed Plover, a Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Common Sandpiper, 3 Green Sandpiper, a Wood Sandpiper, a Greenshank, 8 Little Gull, 3 Mediterranean Gull, a 2cy Caspain Gull (with yellow darvic, XPEU) first seen as a juvenile in 2020, 90 Sandwich Tern and a Short-eared Owl, while 97 Little Tern were on Beacon ponds.
There was again some movement over the sea with 4 Teal, 24 Common Scoter, 4 Manx Shearwater, a Great Crested Grebe, 1 Spoonbill, 83 Gannet, 16 Shelduck, 38 Whimbrel, 2 Curlew, 87 Turnstone, 7 Knot, 2 Sanderling, a Dunlin, 12 Redshank, 5 Kittiwake, 6 Little Gull, 24 Sandwich Tern, 6 Common Tern and 5 Arctic Skua.
Ringing: 2 Willow Warbler, 1 Lesser Whitethroat.

A wild, windy, cloudy day with a blustery F5-7 south westerly. Watches: 0900-1200.
The Kilnsea wetlands and Beacon ponds area produced some good totals and variety with 2 Pintail, 24 Little Egret, a Great White Egret, 3 Spoonbill, 3 Little-ringed Plover, 2 Ruff, 210 Redshank, 300 Knot, 4 Greenshank, a Wood Sandpiper, 3 GreenSandpiper, a Common Sandpiper, 2500 Dunlin, 6 Mediterranean Gull, an adult Yellow-legged Gull, 2 juvenile Caspain Gull, 206 Sandwich Tern, a Roseate Tern, 10 Common Tern and 3 Arctic Tern.
There was some movement over land and sea the best being a Wigeon, 5 Shelduck, 24 Oystercatcher, 4 Lapwing, a Snipe, 1 Curlew, 3 Whimbrel, 23 Redshank and 19 Turnstone while overland 876 Swift, 6 Sand Marrtin, 4 Swallow and 5 House Martin.

Rain early morning brightening later with a F3-5 south westerly.
There were still 2 Spoonbill and a Great White Egret in the Kilnsea wetlands/ Beacon ponds area, which also held most of the decent birding too, with 5 Shoveler, 51 Mallard, 5 Pintail, 5 Little-ringed Plover, 6 Black-tailed Godwit,a Snipe, 5050 Dunlin, 206 Redshank, 3 Common Sandpiper, 5 Greenshank, a Ruff, 22 Little Egret, 10 Mediterranean Gull, 5 Little Gull, a juvenile Caspian Gull and 120 Sandwich Tern.
The day also saw a small movement with 5 Teal, 10 Common Scoter (plus 90 on the Humber), a Red-throated Diver, 2 Manx Shearwater, 47 Gannet, 56 Oystercatcher, 2 Whimbrel, 2 Dunlin, 5 Turnstone, 46 Kittiwake, a Roseate Tern, an Arctic Skua and 2 Puffin, with also 267 Swift, 9 Sand Martin and 26 Swallow overland.
Ringing: 2 Whitethroat, 2 Willow Warbler, 1 Dunnock.

Cloudy with sunny spells and a F1-4 north west-south east wind. Watches: 0630-0930.
There was little change overall, the usual Great White Egret wandered the area and 42 Little Egret and a Spoonbill were around Kilnsea wetlands along with the Goldeneye, 3 Greenshank, 3 Green Sandpiper, 63 Little Gull and 7 Mediterranean Gull.
Moving were 7 Teal, a Pintail, 64 Common Scoter, 14 Manx Shearwater, 67 Gannet, 7 Cormorant, a Golden Plover in, 2 Sanderling, a Whimbrel, 5 Redshank, 2 Turnstone, 5 Little Gull, 96 Kittiwake, 4 Puffin, a Great Skua and 2 Arctic Skua.
Ringing: 2 Song Thrush,3 Blackbird, 2 Dummock, 1 Starling, 1 Blue Tit,1 Great Tit, 1 Reed Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Chiffchaff, 3 Blackcap, 1 Greenfinch.

A cloudy, but warm day with the odd brighter spell and a F3 northerly. Watches: 0550-1000.
There were 2 Great White Egret on Beacon ponds and assumed to be obe of the birds in the triangle later and roosting again at Pancho pond and 2 Spoonbill were again on Kilnsea wetlands.
Moving were 7 Teal, a Tufted Duck, 142 Common Scoter, 3 Fulmar, 13 Manx Shearwater, 137 Gannet, 119 Oystercatcher, 13 Whimbrel, 2 Curlew, 3 Turnstone, 5 Sanderling, a Common Sandpiper, a Green Sandpiper, 824 Kittiwake, 6 Blacl-headed Gull in/off, 6 Little Gull, 15 Common Tern, 5 Arctic Tern, a Black Tern, 1 Great Skua, 3 Arctic Skua, 22 Guillemot, 14 Razorbill, 7 Puffin and 58 Large Auk sp, while pverland a Marsh Harrier, 1 Hobby and 3 Swift.
Other bits of note were 2 Green Sandpiper mobile in the triangle, 22 Mediterranean Gull and an adult Yellow-legged Gull on the Humber,.
